We’re excited to unveil our new Trail Trekkers nature camp, led by Alyssa Rose, an experienced children’s instructor and Certified Program Leader trained in First Aid, CPR, and Water Safety. This summer, kids will enjoy a perfect mix of structured outdoor fun and education through engaging activities like creek exploration, fishing, birdwatching, insect netting, plant studies, nature journaling, crafts, and safe foraging. Alyssa’s enthusiasm for nature shines in every adventure, igniting curiosity and creating lasting memories!

Alyssa has also served as a group hike leader, naturalist, tour guide, summer camp teacher and finally camp manager at the Genesee Country Village & Museum. Alyssa has a NYS Program Leader Certification and is trained in First Aid, CPR, and Water Safety. With private access to creeks and trails, she is very excited to lead our children and share her knowledge and appreciation of nature.
