Curriculum
Rooted in the belief that education is inherently value-laden, our program goes beyond rote learning to embrace moral teachings that elucidate the principles of right and wrong. We emphasize the fundamental truth that equality and liberty are inherent to every individual, forming the bedrock of civic friendship, economic opportunity, citizenship, and political freedom. Across three enriching days each week, students immerse themselves in classical literature, math, and history, complemented by a science elective and other vital subjects that not only meet New York State educational requirements but also nurture the foundation for a life truly lived in freedom. Our mission at ASA goes beyond textbooks; we strive to mold free men and free women—self-reliant and responsible individuals who contribute to a healthy, united citizenry. In doing so, we steadfastly reject false teachings and fashionable ideologies, echoing the imperfect yet unparalleled story of America within our hallowed halls, where imperfection is not a flaw but a stepping stone to unprecedented achievement.
Socialization
Recognizing the vital role of socialization in a child’s development, we provide a dedicated Lunchtime Social period, creating opportunities for students to build meaningful connections with their peers. These social periods not only enhance interpersonal skills but also contribute to a well-rounded educational experience, ensuring our students thrive academically and socially.
